Pa Pius Iyamah dies at 84

The death has occurred of Mr. Pius Donald Iyamah (a.k.a P.D.), aged 84. Until his demise, Iyamah, was a retired civil servant and former Private Secretary to Governor Ambrose Alli of defunct Bendel State.
The death has occurred of Mr. Pius Donald Iyamah (a.k.a P.D.), aged 84. Until his demise, Iyamah, was a retired civil servant and former Private Secretary to Governor Ambrose Alli of defunct Bendel State.
As Private Secretary to Governor Alli, he drafted the strategy papers for the establishment of the Bendel State University Ekpoma, now Ambrose Alli University, Colleges of Education Benin, Warri, Agbor and Bendel Television; now Edo Broadcasting Service.
He’s survived by a wife and children.
Burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.
