ScribeTribe Africa CEO bags CIoD membership

The Chartered Institute of Directors (CIoD) has inducted the Chief Executive Officer, ScribeTribe Africa Limited, Bright Ukwenga, as a member of the Institute along with other visionaries and industry leaders. 

The ceremony themed, “Maintaining Board Excellence and Governance in Trying Times,” delivered by the guest speaker, Mrs. Oyinkan Adewala, M.CIoD, Independent Non-Executive Director, FBN Quest Merchant Bank Ltd, served as a wakeup call for directors to upscale in challenging seasons.

She said: “Cyber security and AI have now topped the list of what keeps directors awake. You have to embrace technology, not run away from it. You have to see how this affects your company.”

Speaking on his induction, Ukwenga said it reflects his unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical leadership.

“I am eager to play my part as a transformational leader in the business community both locally and globally.” Amongst the many inductees were Mrs. Feyisayo Abiru, Managing Director, Home and You Ltd; Mr. Tunde Elesin, Deputy Managing Director, Deltaafrik Engineering Ltd; Mrs Nnenna Anyim Okoro, Executive Director, Keystone Bank; Mr. Idris Adeleke Shittu, Non-Executive Director, FBN Quest Trustees Ltd; and Dr. Tayo Aduloju, Chief Executive Officer, Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).
