For the families of Osuji & Mrs Halifax Nwaze of Amenu Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and Mr & Mrs Michael Igwemadu of Urumechi Eziora,Ozubulu, Anambra State, April 6, 2024 was a special day. It was the day their children exchanged marital vows amid pump and ceremony.

It was a day of a thousand stars. From the fringe of the Sahara to the Atlantic Coastline, men and women of class came. Boardroom titans, political juggernauts, policy makers and business tycoons, among others descended on Port Harcourt, also known as Garden City, venue of the event.

It was indeed a beautiful occasion. The exquisitely decorated hall was every inch breathtaking. The colours of the day were emerald green, wine red, peach and onion purple, which added a touch of class to the event. A whiff of perfumes rent the air

The fashion consciousness of Nigerians was on display. In fact, it was like a fashion show. Guests were decked in different designer stuffs. Some of them looked like a million bucks. Memories are made of such outings.

Osuji Nwaze prayed for the success of the union. He told the couple: “There should be undiluted love for one another. You will give birth to the quantity of children (male and female) you wish to have. You should be close to God as long as you live. Good health and prosperity in all ramifications shall be your portion.”

The theme of the event was love. There was enough to eat and drink even as the DJ serenaded the guests.

Mazi Ikenna Nweze was the chairman of the day while Engr. Emeka Obikwelu was the wedding sponsor. The dignitaries that graced the event included Mr Enekwachi Aja, Ted Nwachukwu,
