FOLLOWING the success of its ‘Back to School project’ at St. Michael’s African School, Ipari-Nla, Ogun State, in February, the Angel Foundation has successfully completed another transformative project at the school, which was commissioned on Monday.

It renovated and modernised the school’s toilet facilities, enhanced hygiene standards for students and teachers alike, as well as the overhauling of outdated 10 pit toilets with each having three modernised toilets, alongside hand-washing and shower rooms, which were divided evenly between male and female.

In addition to the renovation of the toilet facilities, the Foundation also donated a water system to the school. This invaluable contribution ensures a reliable supply of clean drinking water for the students and teachers.

It also provided water bottles to accompany the new water system, ensuring that each student has access to safe drinking water throughout the school day.

The impact of The Foundation’s initiatives was met with profound gratitude from the school’s leadership, as well as the wider community.

Meanwhile, Headteacher of the school, Kazeem B.A, alongside the community head of Ipari-Nla, Adekunle Adeniyi, expressed heartfelt appreciation to the Foundation for its unwavering commitment to improving the lives of students and teachers.

Also, Chairman of Ijebu North East Local Council, Folusho Badejo, commended the Foundation’s initiative, saying that it is a testament to the importance of collaborative efforts in community development.

Founder of Angel Foundation, Oluwaseun Hassan, expressed gratitude to all who contributed to the project’s success, saying that the Foundation is proud to have played a part in enhancing the educational experience for the students of the school.
