The founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry (DCLM), Dr. William F. Kumuyi has expressed optimism that the country’s woes would soon be over.
Kumuyi stated this in Aba, the commercial hub of Abia State while briefing select journalists on his arrival for a 5-day crusade, termed, Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK).
The DCLM founder said his optimism was hinged on the fact that the Naira which was on a free fall early last month, has picked up tremendously.
“The truth remains that the hardship is a global thing, it’s all over, but we are praying and encouraging people on how we can improve the economy.”
While urging Nigerians to be a little patient, he said he had no doubt very soon, the nation’s economy would bounce back.
On churches establishing schools which fees are at times out of the reach of poor members of such churches, Pastor Kumuyi said since the Nigerian Constitution did not stop churches from owning and running schools, he would not condemn that.
“The fees charged by those schools depend on the founders and I can’t condemn them. Deeper Life schools’ charges are affordable, we run and charge moderate fees.”
Kumuyi said during the 5-day global crusade, God would help him through Christ to transform many lives in Abia and its environs.
He said God has not changed, the same as Christ, having answered his prayers over the years, that He would use the Aba crusade which theme is, “Glorious Transformation through Christ”, to bring salvation, healing and deliverance to many who would listen to him.
“God has not changed, the same as Christ. Having answered our prayers over the years, we believe he will use the Aba Global Crusade to bring salvation, healing and deliverance to those who will listen to us.
He urged Christians to have abiding faith in God as there is nothing difficult for Him to do.
The crusade starts from April 25 to 30. The briefing was attended by Chairmen of CAN and PFN, including the regional overseers of the Church in the South East.
