Nigerian singer Tems has announced the release of her latest single Love me Jeje an imitation of Seyi Sodimu in 1997.
Seyi Sodimu known as Mr. Jeje is a Nigerian singer-songwriter, best known for his hit single “Love Me Jeje”.
The song made him popular in Nigeria in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
The imitation song is set to be released officially on April 26 by Tems.
The singer recently performed the track at Coachella, where she captivated audiences with the track’s infectious chorus.
Seyi Sodimu reacted by acknowledging how proud he was of Tems.
This made my day. The beautiful thing about music is that it transcends generations and connects us through time.
Shoutout to Tems and her team, and congrats on a wonderful Coachella performance, he said.

She released two singles at the end of last year, Me & U and Not an Angel, which both reached No. 3 on Billboards U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
As anticipation builds for her debut album, “Born in the Wild,” slated for release in May, Tems continues to soar to new heights.
She also earned an award at the breakthrough by Savannah James, when she performed Not an Angel.
