Bendel Insurance have singled out goalkeeper Amas Obasogie for praise following their goalless draw with Lobi Stars on Sunday.

Obasogie’s heroics earned the Benin Arsenal a point at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

He made a number of crucial saves to deny the hosts maximum points in the game.

“Gaining a point away from home is a good story to tell,” the club wrote on their X handle.

“Thanks to our goalkeeper and captain Amas Obasogie who was at his best with uncountable saves.

“His bravery earned him the Man of the Match award. Adaaa…Bendel….”

Bendel Insurance extended their unbeaten run to three games following the result.

They moved up to ninth position on the table with 42 points.
