Olusola Oke

The followers of the late aspirant, under the aegis of the Paul Akintelure Campaign Organisation, assured Oke that during the shadow election on April 20, 2024, they would mobilise for him to emerge as the standard-bearer of the party.

Director-General of the campaign organisation, Adeluse Obe and General Secretary, Usor Eteng, who stated the development in Akure, Ondo State capital, in a statement they jointly signed on Wednesday, said that the decision to support and key into Oke’s ambition was unanimous.

In the statement, they described Oke as “a man of multi-dimensional capabilities who can turn the fortunes of Ondo State around for the better,” adding that he has the intellectual capacity to lead the state.

SIMILARLY, members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Owo, headquarters of Owo Local Council of Ondo State, yesterday, assured Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of maximum support during the primaries of the party on April 20, 2024.

According to members and leaders of the party, Aiyedatiwa’s loyalty to his former boss, the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, and the Owo community should be rewarded with the party’s ticket through votes tomorrow.

Olowo of Owo, Oba GbadegesinOgunoye, who described Aiyedatiwa as an astute administrator who has been running seamless governance since becoming governor, said: “Since your tenure as deputy governor of Ondo State, you have shown your love for Owo.

“You did not only show loyalty to your former principal, you have been sustaining his legacies.

“The people of Owo have no option but to support you to continue as governor of Ondo State.”

Aiyedatiwa, who had during his campaign tour appreciated the people of the town for their support and show of love, described Owo as his second home, and promised to sustain the ongoing developmental projects in the community.
