Ekiti United sack technical crew, appoint Ayeni as head coach

Nigeria National League side Ekiti United have sacked their entire coaching crew.

The coaches were sacked following their 5-0 away loss to Smart City FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, on Monday.

Ekiti United occupy the 10th position on the NNL table with 17 points.

Former Akwa United coach Ayodeji Ayeni has been appointed the new head coach of the team.

Ekiti United have recorded five wins, two draws and 10 defeats in this campaign.

Ayeni had previously managed Sunshine Stars.
