Nigerian filmmaker cum movie actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has opened up on why she didnt get to mark her husbands birthday and their 28th wedding anniversary which took place almost a week ago.

The movie star revealed that on her wedding anniversary and husband, Captain Mathew Ekeindes birthday, which was on the 23rd of March, she was on a movie set.

Omotola Jalade subtly announced shes back to work, confessing how the movie location she was at had almost no network and she was shooting late.

Sharing a video collage compilation made by her husband, the mother of four thanked her husband for being a gift to her and the reel she shared on the photo and video sharing app, Instagram.

The 46-year-old who earlier revealed that she directed two movies and features in one, tagged her husband, stating that she would see him soon.

Omotola Jalade captioned the post:

So the 23rd of March was @captainekeindes Birthday and Our 28th Marriage Anniversary… I was Slaving away on Set where Location had Almost no network and shooting Late.

In 2023, during their 27th wedding anniversary, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde shocked her fans with the photo she uploaded to celebrate with her husband, Captain Mathew. 

Taking to Instagram to celebrate the double occasion, Omotola aka Omosexy shared a sizzling bedroom photo which led many of her fans to start teasing and gushing over it.

In the photo, the parents of four is seen in bed half-naked with Mathews arm sporting a tattoo of his wifes nickname Omosexy.
