Again, another iconic personality in the Nollywood industry, Ganiyu Opeyemi, popularly known as Ogunjimi has passed away on Friday, barely few days after the death of Zulu Adigwe, leaving the Nigerian film industry in grief.
According to Naija News, reports on the death of the Veteran Yoruba actor was disclosed by his fellow Yoruba actor, Kunle Afod on his Instagram page where he shared his last tribute to the theatre legend.
We tried our best, but God loves you more.
May his soul Rest in Peace. Baba Ogunjinmi, RIP, sun re oooo, Afod posted.
Ogunjimi became popular for his roles in Yoruba movies such as Koto Orin, Imoran, Eye mi, Ole meta, among others.
As the movie industry reels from loss, fans and colleagues also pay their tributes while reminiscing on Ogunjimis contributions to Nigerian cinema.
