Several workers are reportedly trapped under the rubble of a collapsed building in the Kuntau area of Gwale Local Government Area of Kano State.

It was learnt that two persons rescued from the collapsed building had been rushed to the hospital by officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

Some corpses have been reportedly recovered while efforts continue to rescue more people trapped under the rubble.

The number of casualties has not yet been ascertained.
