Nasarawa Amazons players have been charged to work more harder ahead of the Nigeria Women Football League Super Six playoffs.

The Lafia club have picked a spot in the season ending tournament.

The Chairperson of the club, Hajiya Husaina Suleiman Nagog gave the encouragement in an address to the players.

The clubs management also doled out cash gift to the players after qualifying for the Super Six.

“I want you girls to continue to work hard to make our sports loving, purposeful and great governor Engr A.A Sule and Nasarawa State proud, myself the Chairperson proud and other things are in progress on your improved welfare and salaries,” she stated.

“She appreciated the team with a token of three hundred thousand naira which she said was for drinks and she knows the government will do more if we go and bring the trophy back to Nasarawa state.”

Nasarawa Amazons will battle with Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Confluence Queens, Heartland Queens and Edo Queens for the 2024 NWFL title.
