Victor Osimhen admitted that he will probably ‘cry’ when leaving former Serie A champions, Napoli.

The Nigeria international is widely expected to leave the Partenopei this summer though his destination is still unknown.

Osimhen has around €120m release clause inserted in the contract he signed last December.

The striker is already a cult hero among Napoli fans having played a key role in their Scudetto success last season.

The 25-year-old scored 26 goals in 32 league appearances, with Napoli winning their first title in over three decades.

Osimhen, who described Napoli fans as one of the best in the world, claimed leaving the club will be difficult.

“For me its a fantastic feeling, in some clubs its the history that creates the identity, in Naples its the fans who make the team what it is.

“The way they support the team and each player is truly incredible,” he said in an interview with Betsson Sport.

Sometimes I understand why some legends of the past cried when they left Naples, because it is an extraordinary emotion to play in the stadium and hear your name shouted from the first minute to the 90th, supporting the team and cheering.
