Rangers manager, Philippe Clement has confirmed Leon Balogun picked up an injury in the club’s home win against Kilmarnock on Sunday.

Balogun, who put up a solid display in the first half, was substituted by Ben Davies after the break.

Clement revealed after the game that the Nigeria international sustained a muscle injury.

“Yes he (Balogun)was injured, that is why I had to replace him. I hope it is a small muscle injury,” Clement was quoted by Rangers Review.

“We will see in the next couple of days. But he struggled too much to continue.”

The 35-year-old has made 14 league appearances for the Light Blues in the current campaign.
