Four managers have been shortlisted for the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL,
Coach of the Month award for April.
The quartet are Fidelis Ilechukwu (Rangers), Gbenga Ogunbote (Shooting Stars), Mohammed Majin (Niger Tornadoes) and Stanley Eguma (Rivers United).
Ilechukwu led his Rangers side to three wins in five matches, with his side scoring 10 goals in the month.
The Flying Antelopes also maintained their position at the top of the NPFL table.
Veteran tactician Ogunbote is leading Shooting Stars’ charge for a continental position.
The former Sunshine Stars tactician guided the Oluyole Warriors to four wins in five matches.
Eguma’s Rivers United have continued to push for a return to the continent.
The Pride of Rivers recorded three wins in four games.
Majin’s magic has pulled Niger Tornadoes out of the relegation water after an impressive three wins in six games.
The winner of the award will be decided by a panel of Nigerian football experts and announced on Friday, May 10, 2024.
