Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has mourned the passing of Senator Ayogu Eze.

DAILY POST had reported that Eze died in an Abuja Hospital on Tuesday after a protracted illness.

Reacting on his X page, Atiku expressed shock and sadness.

According to him, Eze served the people of Enugu North and Nigeria.

I received the news of the passing of Senator Ayogu Eze with shock and sadness. He was a founding member of the @OfficialPDPNig who served the people of Enugu North Senatorial District and indeed Nigeria with distinction.

May his family be comforted and his soul rest in peace.
