Nigerian Army had also revealed how its operatives killed some notorious terrorists in the local government on Monday.

A group of suspected terrorists on Saturday morning clashed with security operatives attached to a vigilante group in Mai Marahu community in the Maru Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

 

This was revealed by a security expert, Zagazola Makama in a post released on X.

 

What led to the gunbattle and the number of casualties recorded were yet to be ascertained at the time of filing this report.

Recall that the Nigerian Army had also revealed how its operatives killed some notorious terrorists in the local government on Monday.

 

Onyema Nwachukwu, the army spokesperson, who announced the development in a statement, said the troops recovered weapons from the terrorists hideouts.

 

Nwachukwu had also said 10 operational motorbikes used for mobility by the insurgents and 18 rustled cows were recovered during the operation.
