Womens Economic Power was the highlight of the #HerMoneyHerPower task carried out by the BBNaija Housemates on Monday. The task, a part of the #HerMoneyHerPower campaign is based on a gender equality campaign launched by The She Tank in partnership with BellaNaija focusing on pushing for Women’s Economic Power in Nigeria. They started off with the quiz which was both informative and entertaining. The housemates knowledge on prominent Nigerian women with Economic Power was tested and these housemates definitely knew their onions.

The play which starred two couples – KellyRae and Nelly as well as Sooj and Anita told the story of two homes where the wife in one of the homes had Economic Power while the other didnt.
A post shared by BellaNaija (@bellanaija) In the play, Anita and Sooj were able to convince KellyRae and Nelly on the importance of Womens Economic Power and encouraged KellyRae to change his ways and encourage his wife to get economic power – a performance that earned kudos from Big Brother himself. With the final presentation, the housemates had us all glued to our TV screens as they used both personal experiences and concrete data to propose powerful solutions for womens economic power.
