Twenty-year-old Thomas Mathew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate former United States, US, President, Donald Trump searched for the details of John F. Kennedy’s shooting online.

Crooks searched for the details of Kennedy’s shooting on his laptop and flew a drone in the area close to the rally, two hours before the incident.

This was disclosed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, Director, Christopher Wray on Wednesday.

Wray made the discovery in congressional hearings about the Trump rally.

On July 13, Crooks attempted to take Trump’s life during his presidential campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

While Crook missed his target despite several shots, operatives of the Secret Service killed him immediately.

However, at the wide-ranging House Judiciary Committee hearing, Wray said Crooks used a gun with a collapsible stock, adding that he accessed the roof of the building by climbing, not with a ladder.

Wray said: On July 6, he did a Google search for: how far away was Oswald from Kennedy.

Thats a search thats obviously significant in terms of his state of mind.

That is the same day that it appears that he registered for the Butler rally.

Wray revealed that around 4 p.m., Crooks was flying the drone around the area of the rally, approximately 200 yards from the stage.
