The Alimosho Football Coaches Council U-16 League is back for a new season.

Football teams that have registered for the much anticipated Alimosho Football Coaches Council Under-16 League have been warned to desist from all sorts of football unprofessionalism that can bring the league and football into disrepute.

According to the leader of Alimosho Football Coaches Council, Mr. Samuel Uchenna Eke: “We want to do better than last edition and we want to try as much as possible to curb age cheats. Of course what happened last season we don’t want such things again and we are appealing to the club owners, coaches and Managers to desist from age cheating and other social vices that can affect our league.”

Ten football Academies are expected to participate in this year’s Alimosho Football Coaches Council Under-16 League which will kickstart on the 1st of May, 2024 across the various centers in the city of Alimosho, Lagos State.

The AFCC U-16 League will run from April to September.

The league, which is put together by the Alimosho Football Coaches Council is targeted at giving young and aspiring players the opportunity to showcase their talents and nurture them to stardom.

In the fixtures released by the organizers, four matches will take center stage in Week 1 of the league across the designated centers.

Sammy FC will entertain B.United FC by 10am at the Ijegun playground, while Profoot FC will lock horns with Samjason FC in a local derby at the Egan Grammar School by 3pm. In another fixture, IGFC and Future Stars will battle themselves out in another local derby which promises to be tough but interesting one by 3pm at the Igando Palace Playground.
