Niger Tornadoes interim head coach Majin Mohammed says it is important to consolidate on their good run of form at home against Doma United.
The Ikon Allah Boys have won their last three home games, scoring eight times.
Mohammed believed that every point counted at this crucial period of the season.
“Every point gained is valuable and important at this point, because it is just few games until the end of the season and every team has their priority, ours is to stabilise in the NPFL,” he told the club’s media.
“This is why the remaining matches are significant, especially home games, because teams will be trying by any means possible to guide their home.
“They won at their home because it was important to them, now is the time for us to also win our home because it’s equally important to us.”
The Minna club will host Doma United next in a matchday 31 fixture on Sunday.
Niger Tornadoes secured a narrow 1-0 win over Doma United in their previous meeting in 2022.
