Arsenal wonderkid Chidozie Obi-Martin has been included in Denmark’s squad for the U17 Euro championship.
Denmark is Obi-Martin’s country of birth and this would be his first major tournament.
The Danish Football Union confirmed the decision to include the player in their 20-man squad list on Monday.
Obi-Martin plays for the Arsenal U18 team and has scored in eight consecutive matches in the U18 Premier League.
He already has 29 goals in his basket this season. He made his debut for Denmark’s U17 national team in a friendly against Norway in August 2023.
Denmark will battle Austria, Croatia and Wales in Group B of the European championship.
