Hollywood stars and Wrexham AFC owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney donated £10,000 to four-year-old disabled football fan Louis to get his home adapted.
Aaron and Charlotte Perrins son Louis was born with a with a rare genetic condition called TUBA1A, which causes him to have painful leg spasms, limited mobility, epilepsy and cerebral palsy.
The family set up a fundraising page with the target of £40,000 so they could adapt their Wrexham home to meet Louis needs.
They were blown away when they saw quarter of their total amount had appeared in the pot, courtesy of the Marvel star, 47, and the Its Always Sunny In Philadelphia actor, 46.
Charlotte, 32, who works in the emergency services, told PA News: Louis carer screenshotted the donation page and was like, Oh my God, look at that, and then I tried to get in touch with my husband.
Head teacher Aaron, also 32, added: I was at work and was sitting in the staff room and saw I had two missed calls from Charl and then a message from one of my governors saying, have you seen this?
I couldnt contain it; I just told everyone in work straight away.
We were all amazed and so pleased and weve had friends ringing and crying on the phone.
We were totally blown away by their generosity really; we were just in shock.
With £40,000 the family hopes to fit a downstairs bedroom with an attached wet room, and raise the garden level to make it easier for Louis to go outside, amoung other things.
Weve gone through two sets of plans with the local council and there has been no funding available due to the cost of the project, so to see the community donate, it has given us more hope that we are going to achieve our target, Aaron said.

Charlotte continued: We just want him to be as independent and safe as he can be at home, and at the moment we have loads of temporary equipment, which can be a challenge as he is continuing to grow.
Although Louis is unaware of the impact of the donation, he is a keen Wrexham AFC supporter, so this generosity from the owners of the club couldnt be better placed.
When he was a baby, Charlotte explained how the colours, noise and cheering coming from the TV during a football match engaged him, and although his speech is quite delayed he chanted along with the crowd.
Watching the sport has helped with his speech and language, and he used to spin his wheelchair around in the middle of matches and scream out with joy.
He just feels the atmosphere and I just love sitting and watching him at the matches because he is in his element, Charlotte said.
By sharing their story and with the involvement of the Hollywood duo, Charlotte and Aaron hope to show their experience is not a unique case.
Theres so many families with either half finished builds or they have not started building at all and theyre selling up or having to give up work to care for their disabled children as they cannot access funding, Aaron said.
Ryan and Rob bought the football club in 2020, and together funded the clubs return to the English Football League for the first time since their relegation in 2008.
Their ownership has brought the bright lights of Hollywood to the Welsh town, home to 44,000 residents and the worlds third oldest football club, as Wrexham AFC was founded in 1864.
Since their takeover the likes of Ryans wife Blake Lively has graced the pitch and bantered with Welsh fans, while Hugh Jackman has cheered on from the sidelines in a bizarre, but exciting turn of events for the former market town.
Its said Ryan has brought a £1.5million property in North Wales to make his stints in Wales more homely. As you do.
The Hollywood owners made the series Welcome To Wrexham, which documents their takeover from trying to get skeptical, football-loving locals on side, to the realities of running a club.
