Two persons have died while one other sustained injuries in an accident at Iyana Odogo, on Ilaro-Owode Road, Ogun State.
The spokesperson, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, in Ogun, Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in a statement issued in Abeokuta on Friday.
Okpe explained that the accident occurred at 6:00 pm and involved a Mitsubishi car marked JJJ 854 JH and a truck with registration number T12224LA.
According to her, a total number of seven people were involved, which comprised four men and three women.
One woman got injured while two men were killed in the crash.
The suspected causes of the crash were obstruction and speed violation, she said.
The FRSC spokesperson said the injured victim and the deceased were taken to General Hospital, Ilaro.
The Sector Commander, Anthony Uga, advised motorists to drive within the stipulated speed limit and always obey traffic rules and regulations.
