The Nigeria Premier Football League has rescheduled the matchday 21 tie between Rivers United and Remo Stars.

The game has been scheduled to take place on Sunday, May 5.

The match was initially postponed due to Rivers United’s CAF Confederation Cup engagement.

The NPFL chief operating officer, Davidson Owumi disclosed this in a memo sent to the two clubs.

The encounter is billed for the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Rivers United are unbeaten in their last four games in the league.

Stanley Eguma’s side defeated Katsina United 2-0 on Thursday to move up to 12th position on the table.
