Barcelona defender, Ronald Araujo has sent a strong warning to Real Madrid ahead of both teams’ La Liga El Clasico on Sunday.
The Uruguay international said Xavi’s men want revenge against Real Madrid.
Recall that Real Madrid defeated Barcelona 4-1 the last time both teams met in January this year.
Barcelona and Madrid are set to lock horns at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium for a league showdown.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side are currently leading the La Liga table with 78 points from 31 matches while the Blaugrana are eight points behind in second position.
A win against the Los Blancos would give the Catalan club a thin chance of fighting for the La Liga title with a few games to go.
“The Clasico is an important revenge,” Araujo said (via Madrid Universal).
“We can fight for the league.”
