Ibom Air, one of the leading airlines in Nigeria, presented its April 2024 scorecard on its official X handle recently, reflecting its operational performance and commitment to excellence in the Nigerian aviation industry.

Accessing its performance, out of 719 scheduled flights, Ibom Air successfully operated 689 flights, indicating a commendable operational efficiency. Despite facing challenges, the airline maintained a robust operational schedule, striving to fulfill its commitments to passengers.

April saw 137 delayed departures and 97 rescheduled flights, reflecting Ibom Air’s proactive approach to mitigate disruptions and accommodate unforeseen circumstances. While delays are inevitable in the aviation industry, Ibom Air’s efforts to minimize disruptions are evident.

With 30 canceled flights, Ibom Air demonstrates transparency in its operations by prioritising passenger safety and comfort. Canceling flights, when necessary, ensures adherence to safety standards and minimises inconvenience for passengers.

Ibom Air achieved a schedule reliability of 82%, indicating its ability to adhere to planned flight schedules despite operational challenges. Moreover, with an on-time performance of 80%, the airline maintained a commendable record of punctuality, ensuring timely departures and arrivals for passengers.

While Ibom Air faced some operational challenges in April, its commitment to maintaining a high level of service delivery remained unwavering. By prioritising safety, operational efficiency, and passenger satisfaction, Ibom Air continues to set benchmarks for excellence in the Nigerian aviation sector.
