Senator Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim, a well-known PDP stalwart, regrettably passed away after a protracted illness.

Ibrahim who was norn on December 12, 1966, was a notable member of the Nigerian Senate, served as the senator for the Kwara South Senatorial District in the 8th National Assembly.

He demonstrated his knowledge and dedication to financial concerns throughout his term as chair of the Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions.

As a member of several Senate Committees, such as Appropriations, Federal Character and Inter-Government Affairs, and Media and Public Affairs, he also offered his leadership and views.
