Unfortunately speaking about a bad Chelsea performance is becoming all too regular again right now as the team going through a worrying time.

Thomas Tuchel has rightly been speaking about a lack of fatigue, but unfortunately all that matters is results on the pitch, and right now, Chelsea are not getting them.

It would be amazing if you guys subscribed for my project over at Si & Dan Talk Chelsea, where we are putting out so much Chelsea content including DAILY Newsletters, exclusive news, breaking news, Podcasts, interviews, inside information, and bringing in some massive guests!

Its a very bad run of form and it continued last night with a 1-1 draw against Brighton. The result itself was disappointing yet it could have been much worse against a tough side. But what was even worse once again was the lacklustre performance from Chelsea, they didnt look like they cared at times and lacked so much quality on the ball.

Kepa Arrizabalaga continued between the sticks in Edouard Mendys absence, and he actually made a couple of big saves to keep Chelsea in it.

Hes given his honest assessment after the game, via the Chelsea website.

We are not happy of course, we dropped two points and we didnt play well, he said.

In both games, at home and here, we scored first and were in a good position to control the game, but they played a very physical game, one against one in all the pitch. Its not easy to control the game against Brighton. You have space behind the line, you have a chance to go one against one, but in the same way they have those chances.

It was a very open game. We had to create more chances. We had opportunities near the box to go one against one, to shoot, and maybe thats something we have to improve.

Set-pieces are about concentration, about focus and taking your man. We have to look at ourselves, not outside, and improve. There is not one solution. We are working on it, trying to find solutions.

We are honest. We are in good positions in all the competitions “ we are in the Champions League, we have the League Cup final and the World Club Cup “ but in the Premier League we have dropped points in the last month. We have to get back to winning ways because everybody is coming [up behind us].

We need points because we want to be on top of the league, but we have to look at ourselves, improve and step up. We have another big game on Sunday, a London derby, and from there we go.
