But have you ever stopped to ask, What do men actually want on Valentines Day?

Well, we did! We spoke to Nigerian men of different ages and backgrounds to find out what they really want this Valentines Day. And guess what? Its not just about socks and boxers (thankfully!).

From thoughtful surprises to simple acts of appreciation, their responses might just change how you approach Valentines Day this year.

So, ladies, take notes”heres what these Nigerian men really want on the most romantic day of the year.

Samuel – Cash, just give me cash and nothing else.

Femi – What is Valentine’s day without love making? That is what I am looking forward to. I want to have a delightful night of backbreaking gymnastics with my boo.

Tunde – I actually need a new phone, PlayStation 5 and a laptop. These are basically he best Valentine’s Day gift I could receive.

Daniel – The perfect Valentine’s Day gift would be mostly watches, PlayStation 5 and Shirts – those are the only three things that get me excited!

Charles – Hmm, a surprise gift, it can be anything. It should just be a surprise package. I really love surprises.

Raphael – For Valentine’s day, I would love to receive shoes, a watch, rings, chains

Stanley – *Checks his wish list*  I need a car! Just a car, Ill be good.

Inem – Subscription for the Economist, if anyone gives this to me on Valentine’s Day, Ill marry the person!

Chike – You see that special room filled with gifts kind of surprise they do for girls? I will really like to experience that for Valentine’s Day.

Destiny – No one has ever given me a Valentine’s Day gift before, so I think anything really will be very much appreciated.
