Ex-Maryland gov posts eerie video of ‘dozens of large drones'' over his home

They’re going national.

Former Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan posted eerie video footage on his X account Friday of “large drones” circling above his house just 25 miles from Washington, DC, echoing concerns from Americans about the unsettling aircraft recently spotted on the East Coast, primarily in New Jersey.

Hogan, 68, said he observed dozens of large drones in the sky over his home in Davidsonville, Md., for approximately 45 minutes ” but didnt know himself if the aerial phenomena were a threat to public safety or national security

“We are being told that neither the White House, the military, the FBI, or Homeland Security have any idea what they are, where they came from, or who has launched or is controlling them ” and that they pose no threat,” he added.

“That response is entirely unacceptable. I join with the growing bipartisan chorus of leaders demanding that the federal government immediately address this issue. The American people deserve answers and action now.”

At least four commercial airline pilots also encountered mysterious, colorful, circular lights moving at extreme speeds through the skies above Oregon this past weekend, according to local reports.

Pilots and nearby air-traffic-control dispatchers discussed the alarming sightings in air traffic control audio archives from Dec. 7.

Sen. Andy Kim (D-NJ) also spoke out about the apparent drones online, saying he went out with local law enforcement Thursday night to try to decipher what the objects are.

“Last night I went out with local police to spot drone [sic] flying over New Jersey, heres what I saw. We drove to Round Valley Reservoir and the officer pointed to lights moving low over the tree line. Sometimes they were solid white light, others flashed of red and green,” Kim wrote on X.

“We saw a few that looked like they were moving in small clusters of 2-4. We clearly saw several that would move horizontally and then immediately switch back in the opposite direction in maneuvers that plane cant do, Kim added, accompanied by videos of the lights in the night sky.

The White House, FBI and DHS have all said that while they do not know what the objects are, they do not currently pose a threat to national security or public safety ” and that they are not being identified as being from a foreign source.

We have not been able to, and neither have state and local law enforcement authorities, corroborate any of the reported visual sightings, White House national security council spokesman John Kirby told reporters at a briefing on Thursday.

Kirby added: Upon review of available imagery, it appears many of the reports of sightings are actually manned aircraft that are being operated lawfully.

New Yorkers have also spotted the alleged drones in the sky near the city ” but Gov. Kathy Hochul told residents not to panic.

“We know New Yorkers have spotted drones in the air this week & we are investigating. At this time, theres no evidence that these drones pose a public safety or national security threat,” Hochul wrote Friday on X, saying New York is cooperating with the FBI and DHS to “protect New Yorkers.”
