Geoffrey Odundo new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Group Managing Director-Nation Media Group (NMG)
Nairobi, Kenya “ The Board of Directors of Nation Media Group Plc has announced the appointment of Mr Geoffrey Odundo as the new Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 7, 2025.
Mr Odundo is a highly accomplished senior executive and investment banker with extensive leadership experience.
He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) from 2015 to 2024, where he spearheaded market innovations and achieved record-breaking milestones in Kenyas financial markets.
Currently serving as the Group Executive Advisor at CPF Group, Mr Odundo has also held leadership roles, including being the first Chief Executive Officer of Kingdom Securities.
He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from the United States International University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Egerton University. Additionally, he has earned multiple professional certifications.
In a statement, Dr. Wilfred D. Kiboro, Chairman of the Nation Media Group Board, welcomed Mr. Odundo to the NMG family, expressing confidence in his ability to steer the company toward continued growth and innovation.
The appointment marks a significant leadership transition for Nation Media Group, East Africas leading independent media house, as it strengthens its position in the evolving media landscape.
