Black Ops 6 and Warzone down on PS5? PSN server issue explained

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone servers are currently live on PlayStation 5. Not only these two Call of Duty titles but any game that required an active PSN connection were also down. The PSN outage continued for almost 22 hours, and after the 2011 scandal, this was the second biggest outage in the history. However, fans can be rest assured as servers are back online and players can join the game now.

While the exact time is still unknown, the PSN servers went down around 4 pm PT, on February 7, 2025. A large number of users took to social media to convey that they couldn''t play Call of Duty, Fortnite, and all the other online games. Sony acknowledged the issue and finally fixed after 22 hours. However, we are yet to know the exact cause behind the sudden server outage.
